Before you reach out

Do I need proof before reporting a concern?

No. You do not need to be certain. If you are worried about a child's safety, reporting it is the right thing to do. Trained professionals will assess the situation.

Will my report be kept confidential?

Yes. Reports to the child helpline and to our team are treated confidentially. You do not have to give your name if you are uncomfortable doing so.

What if the child is in immediate danger?

Call 1929 immediately. The helpline operates 24 hours a day, every day, and can dispatch emergency support. Do not wait.
